Holiday’s Are Almost Over!

Happy Holiday’s –

I have been on a quest to drop about 15 pounds since mid November and the darn scale has not moved.  Now I did not weigh myself before this journey, so chances are I was heavier than I first assumed or I did not loose as much as I thought.  Silly me to try and loose weight this time of the year!  For the most part I did stick to the plan of eating 6 small meals and no liquor.  I did increase my gym time to about 2 hours a day verses  1 1/2 hours.  So what is happening or not happening?

I find it hard to believe I have hit a plateau before I even started, but I guess anything is possible.  I thought I would reach my goal by the end of the year, but probably not.  That means I will have to work that much harder.  It can be done!

One more holiday to pass, New Years.  For those of you who are looking to shed some pounds, keep your focus on the end result.  If you find yourself in wanting to devour everything on the table, think about the progress you’ve made and step away from the table, take a deep breath, and opt for a sample.  You know the size I’m talking about.  If not, go for two tablespoons and not heaping.  Yes, I do know all the tricks.
